### Symbol: Q1 ( or Q-one)

Meaning:
It is the first quartile.
Formula used:
Q1=The value for a given set of sorted values in ascending order, that is above 25% of the numbers and below 75 % of the numbers is referred to as the first quartile.
Used in:
Measures of Central Tendency.

Meaning:
It is the second quartile or the median.
Formula used:
Q2 = In an ordered data, it is the central value.
