Statistics Help
Question: If you flip a quarter 10 times. What is the probability you will get heads all 10 times. I More need to get how to find the answer than the actual answer.
Statistics homework help Edit
Answer: The probability for any number of heads x in any number of flips n is:
(n x)/[sum(i=0 to n)*(n i)]
=n!/{2^n*x!*(n-x)!}
So, the chance of flipping a coin 10 times and getting all heads = 1/2^10. (Ans.)
