Question: Do BOND ENERGY and ACTIVATION ENERGY have the same value? What is the relationship between them? Edit
Answer: Activation energy is the minimum amount of energy needed by the reactants for a reaction to occur.
Bond energy is the amount of energy required to break a certain chemical bond.
There is no mathematical relationship between them but if the bond dissociation energy for reactants is high then activation energy required for the reaction also will be high Edit
