Question: All the cell parts which are responsible in the body of a cell and functions? Edit
Answer: Cell parts and functions (eukaryotic cells)
Cell Wall (found in plant cell only) - It protects and supports of cytoplasm.
Cytoplasm - It contains cell organelles.
Nulcleus - It controls all activities of a cell.
Nucleoplasm - Protoplasm in the nucleus and it contains the genetic material, the chromosomes (DNA)
Nucleolus - It is found in nucleus; it contains genetic information or RNA
Vacuoles - They store food, minerals and waste. They are filled with water and they give support to plant cells. They are found both in plant and animal cells, but in animal cells they are smaller in size.
Mitochondria - It is called as the powerhouse of a cell as it releases energy for cell to function. It is also the centre of respiration.
Chloroplasts - They are found in plant cells only. They contain green pigment, chlorophyll that plays very important part in photosynthesis.
Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER) - It connects nuclear membrane to cell membrane. It acts as the passageway for material movement through cell.
Ribosomes - They help make proteins for the cells. They can be found both in cytoplasm or attached to ER.
Golgi Bodies - They take part in packaging protein.
Lysosomes - They are usually found in animal cells and called as suicidal sac. They contain enzymes that help in digestion. If burst they could destroy the entire cell. Edit
