If A's income is 25 % more than B's, by how much per cent is B's income less than A's ?

Solution: Let B's income be $ 100

Therefore, A's income = $ 100 + 25 % of $ 100 = $ 125

When A's income is $ 125, B's income is $ 25 less

=> When A's income is $ 1, B's income is $ 25 / 125 less

=> When A's income is $ 100, B's income is $ 25 / 125 X 100 less = $ 20 less

Therefore, B's income is 20 % less than A's.
