A wire is looped in the form of a circle of radius 28 cm. It is bent into a square form.
Determine the length of the side of the square.

Solution: Length of the wire = Circumference of the circle = 2 Π r

= (2 x 22 / 7 x 28) cm = 176 cm

Therefore, Perimeter of the square = Length of the wire = 176 cm

Hence, the side of the square = 176 / 4 = 44 cm.
