1. Factor the polynomial using the greatest common binomial factor.

15(y+2) – x(y+2)

Solution: 15(y+2) –x(y+2)

GCF is (y+2)

= (y+2) (15 – x)

2. Factor out the GCF from the polynomial.

24m9 – 28m5 – 40m2

Solution: 24m9 – 28m5 – 40m2

= 4m2 ( 6m7 – 7m3 – 10)

So, GCF is 4m2.
