This is an introduction to statistical methods using biological data that includes description of data numerically and graphically, concepts of probability and methods of statistical inference that includes hypothesis tests and confidence intervals. Also intermediate statistical methods includes comparing groups in analysis of variance, some methods for categorical data that includes contingency tables and odds ratios, and analysis of associations using linear and logistic regression. The course content also includes statistical computing in R.
