Econ 4100: Economics, Philosophy and Public Policy

Course Objectives:

The course explores the philosophical aspects of economic analysis of public policy. It shows how economic analysis can become better through an understanding of philosophy. When they complete the course, students are able to understand and appreciate different ethical concepts which are needed for economic analysis or for evaluation of public policies. This makes them prepared to execute economic policy analysis through this course framework.
